The Body Shop Lemon range has landed on The Body Shop website. A new range of lotions, washes and sanitisers that are going to brighten up your skincare.
When I wake up in the morning, I want to feel fresh, energised and happy about the day ahead. With summer coming up, I also want to feel that my skin is clear enough to have makeup free days and enjoy being outdoors.
My current skincare routine consists of The Body Shop Tea Tree products as well as the vitamin E range, as these both have been making my skin feel better. However, I’m always looking to mix it up and try new products.
The Body Shop Lemon Purifying Face Wash has a kind to skin texture, it soaps up nicely without being overly bubbly. It’s gentle enough to be used everyday and I’ve been using it every morning for a good couple of weeks now and it’s definitely made a difference with my spot prone skin.
How to use The Body Shop Lemon Purifying Face Wash
- Wet your face and make sure to have your hair out your face! I use a head band.
- Squeeze a pea size amount onto your hands and rub it in circular motions on your skin. I use mine with my Foreo Fofo to really give my skin a good scrub.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Pat dry!
- Continue the rest of your skincare routine.
I find it feels even better once I’ve worked out, showered and then washed my face with this, it’s the final step in my morning routine before my day properly starts!
I think it’s so good that they use leftover imperfect lemons to make the lemon essential oil used in the face wash! The lemony scent isn’t overpowering, if anything it just helps wake you and your skin up for the day ahead.
Overall, I love the sweet citrus scent of this product, it makes me feel wide awake in the mornings! I will definitely be purchasing more when this finishes.
