Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle is opening its doors in the historic Newcastle guild hall building right on the Quayside. It’s been years in the making and their menu is here to rock your tastebuds.
With a capacity of 170 and with 60 people able to sit on the upper mezzanine with breathtaking views of the Quayside, there’s plenty of seating. There’s even a stage for live performances!
The Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle have made an unbelievable renovation of this beautiful old building and added even more flair to it with their priceless collection of memorabilia. The walls are adorned with treasures from the Hard Rock Cafe vault from local legends who made it big in the world of music as well as everything from AC/DC to Taylor Swift memorabilia.
Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle Menu: food that rocks!
Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle is great for foodies. I could easily come back here multiple times and never order the same thing twice! Everything from nachos to burgers to pasta to salads and cocktails, you’ll be stuffed just reading the menu!
A collection perfect for sharing: signature wings, onion rings, Tupelo chicken tenders, Southwest
spring rolls and tomato bruschetta. Served with honey mustard, blue cheese dressing and our
house-made barbecue sauce. £20.75
The Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle menu is utterly food perfection. I’ve been a lifelong fan of the Hard Rock Cafe and i’m so happy it’s here in Newcastle. We tried the starters and shareables first. I really loved the “One night in Bangkok spicy shrimp”, but my absolute favourite starter are the “whiskey bacon jam sliders”. I could easily eat all three!
When it comes to mains, you’re going to be spoiled for choice. Hard Rock Cafe are well known for their delicious steak burgers, but maybe you’ll be tempted by one of their speciality entrees? Try some baby back ribs, fajitas, New York strip steak or even the smokehouse BBQ combo?
On top of all this deliciousness, you need to try a jam sessions cocktails or the signature range or if you’re having a really fun night out, one of their boozy milkshakes! As well as this they have a good range of beer and wine and for those who aren’t drinking, they have alcohol free cocktails and hot and cold drinks.

The Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle special: the Whey Aye Burger!
The Hard Rock Cafe are well known for their speciality: the local Legendary burger. The local Legendary burger is how they show the love for the local area, and i’m making it my mission to try as many of them as I can. Only available in Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle, say hello to the Whey Aye Burger.
The North East’s take on the Local Legendary burger, served with Northumberland cheese,
‘Newcy Brown‘ onion compote, horseradish cream with a spring onion, cheddar cheese and
pease pudding beignet, all served in a toasted charcoal and sesame seed bun. £14.50

Enter through the roadside entrance and you will enter through the gift shop.
