The Body Shop Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Range Review

Admitting that I have an oily scalp was a big deal for me. I know that it may come from hormone imbalances but it’s never nice to realise you have greasy hair! But you deal with what you’ve got so I got looking for products that could help me look after my hair and scalp. If you’ve been on my blog before you know I’m a big fan of The Body Shop and regularly use their products. I’ve been using The Body Shop Tea Tree haircare range for awhile too and decided I had to share this on the blog.

Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner

I am so glad that I have bought this haircare set. I’ve been using it for months now and I don’t see myself going back from it. The shampoo and conditioner’s tea tree scent is nice and strong. I hate the feeling of my hair when it’s too oily and needs a wash, it feels so heavy and slick. When I wash my hair with this, it is left feeling so light and it seems to be easier to get volume when I follow it with products.

Tea Tree Purifying & Balancing Scalp Scrub

When I was shopping on The Body Shop website for my advent calendar, I saw they had a scalp scrub in the tea tree range too. With this, you only use it once a week so the tub does last you a long time. When you use this, you use it in place of your shampoo. Take a dollop and scrub your wet hair and scalp with it. Work it into lather and give it a rinse and use the conditioner as normal.

When you open the tub, the smell is incredible! Only a small amount is needed and it makes my scalp tingle in a way that makes it feel so clean. It really helps clear your scalp of products and oil that’s built up on it. I’ve noticed that over the past few months I’ve been able to drop down from three washes a week to two.

Not only are these products that work, but because they’re from The Body Shop they’re vegan and do good for the planet through the use of recycled plastic and metal containers.

I really like this range from The Body Shop and if you suffer from an oily scalp and hair, I recommend giving it a try.
