Fashion: In The Frow X Fenwick Summer Styling Tips

I will admit how much I fangirl over In The Frow. Victoria has been one of my blogging inspirations for years and her content continues to inspire and amaze me. Way back in January, I attended the Google Pixel event which was hosted by Victoria. For me that was a chance to meet someone whose content I had admired for years, play with some amazing tech and I even got to chat cameras with Alex. Last week when I saw that she was hosting an event with Fenwick in Newcastle to talk summer fashion, I immediately booked my ticket. To get summer fashion tips from one of the top fashion bloggers in the country who has a PHD in it?
Yes please!

Abbie and I headed to Fenwick alongside Melissa, Gemma and Amy. We arrived to Prosecco and canapes and Fenwick goodie bags waiting on our seats.
Victoria soon arrived and began talking fashion with the head buyer of womenswear at Fenwick. She arrived in a beautiful silk Ganni maxi dress and you could tell how excited she was to attend the event and be back up North – if only briefly!
First off a we had a little introduction about Victoria and then a catwalk of summer looks, followed by a Q&A and selfies, and then time to shop!
The event was an insight into not only Victoria’s own personal style, which if you follow her over on instagram, you will see is exquisite, but also into the gorgeous trends of SS18. Plenty of delicate lace, tulle, embellishment and flowing maxi dresses.
During the interview, they discussed everything from bridal fashion to wedding guest attire, to workwear and how to change up your style. Victoria put together a few of her favourite looks for the summer. A few of the outfits that graced the catwalk you might recognise from her own wardrobe.
How elegant is this Burberry dress!

For me, getting to meet Victoria again was a really lovely experience. When you realise how large her audience is and just how busy her social media channels must be, it’s pretty cool that she remembered me. Watching her blog In The Frow grow and expand into a Youtube channel, it’s pretty cool to witness how her hard work has paid off.
We rounded off the evening with a few more proseccos, macarons and browsed The French Salon. Although I was looking at clothing way outside of my budget, it was incredible to see these beautiful pieces of clothing in person. I may not wear those styles of dresses- but I really want to! Especially Self Portrait dresses. Take a peek below:
