Before Andrew and his grandparents headed back down to Leeds, we went for a walk in the park. We took the cameras and had a little wander before heading into town.
We sat on the bench next to the pond and watched all the babies swim around after their parents. Swans, geese, coots, there were so many!
In a little fenced grassy area, there were lots of babies calling for food and one very busy coot was going back and forth collecting food for these noisy ravenous babies! The fishermen were there and kept throwing feed in for them. The fenced area was almost like a little playpen! It was so hard to get a good photo of these little ones but it was a really lovely thing to watch them all.
