Who else struggles to find foundations for pale skin? Especially ones that don’t hurt your wallet?
Finding a decent foundation for your pale or fair skin has been one of the hardest struggles I’ve had with makeup over the years. I’ve suffered the dreaded tanned face, pale neck and body. Also many fairer shades oxidise and go more orange over time. And other brands? Some don’t even make a tone fair enough or the right tone of fair for me!
I’m not a girl who fake tans often so I am always looking for a foundation that can match my real skin tone as close as possible. Thankfully, especially in the last few years, more and more brands are expanding their shade ranges and i’m so glad there are quite a few brands that are in the affordable category.
Over the years, I’ve tried everything from Primark to Dior and as fantastic as the more expensive foundations can be, I quite like the idea of being able to afford a few bottles of foundation for the same price as one if it can do the same job. (Don’t get me wrong, I do like getting the more expensive ones as a bougie treat!) but the three below are the ones I keep repurchasing because of the quality, price and perfect skin tone match for my fair Scottish skin.
