Glossybox July 2020 Review

I subscribed to Glossybox earlier this year so that I would have a nice little treat every month. Because of lockdown, I’ve looked forward to my monthly box even more. If you don’t know what Glossybox is, it’s a beauty box subscription service that delivers 5 products to your door in the cutest packaging ready for you to try! This months Hawaii themed box is just so beautiful, the most gorgeous packaging, opening it was a real treat!

I mentioned in my April Favourites post how much I loved the McoBeauty lipstick I got in that months Glossybox ( It’s still my most used lipstick at the moment).

Naobay Orange Juice Hand Cream

This cruelty free and vegan hand cream has to be one of my favourite new products that I’ve received through Glossybox. It’s soft, light and not greasy and your hands smell of sweet oranges. A perfect scent for the summer! Even Rob keeps borrowing it as it smells so nice.

Jecca Blac Glow Drops Highlighting Primer

Another really nice product for the summer, a primer that helps give you a glow from under your makeup. This is also a vegan and cruelty free product. I popped this under my daily BB cream from the Body Shop and it just gives such a lovely glow, it definitely helps to make me look less tired! The glow isn’t overpowering either, you don’t look greasy with this underneath your foundation.

Kocostar Slice Mask Sheet Strawberry

I don’t know if you’re like me but I sometimes don’t like wearing sheet masks. They can be frustrating to get to fit across your face properly and peeling them off can sometimes feel a little gross! I haven’t seen a slice sheet mask before but this one is super cute! Cute little strawberries to stick to your face. Just peel them off after 20 minutes and massage in the serum.

Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara

I have to admit I was a little bit upset to not get the product that was advertised in this months box, which was meant to be the Palm Balm from The Beauty Crop. However, a waterproof mascara is always welcome especially this smaller sized one that’s perfect for your travel makeup bag. I’ve used it whilst working out and it stayed put, no smudging. Sometimes I find waterproof mascaras almost painful to remove, like almost pulling lashes out to get it cleaned but this came off easily with a cotton pad and eye makeup remover.

Aloha Bronzer from Give Them Lala Beauty

This is a really lovely bronzer. If I dust it on very lightly I can get away with it with my natural skin tone to do a bit of contouring as it is highly pigmented. But it really helps me glow when I’ve got my fake tan on! A quick spray of my Jamie Genevieve x Utan facial tanning spray, the Aloha Bronzer and a bit of highlighter just gives me a glow that makes me feel confident!

Overall thoughts on the July Glossybox

This is a box that I could barely fault! Literally the only real issue I had is that I didn’t get the Palm Balm as i’ve seen so many good reviews for it as it’s a multipurpose balm! I’ve been subscribed to Glossybox for a few months now and I’ve really enjoyed getting to try new products at a fraction of the price it would cost to go out and buy them!
