Askan Buff

Living up in Newcastle, it gets pretty cold!

As i live in the city centre I walk or cycle to most places. However it is freezing most of the year round and anything that can help me get out and about more, i'm going to grab with both hands!

In January I made a promise myself to be far healthier and look after myself a bit better, including getting fitter.

So far this has progressed to doing far more cycling and walking and i'm enjoying it! Despite the cold!

However, Kitshack sent me a fantastic solution for staying slightly warmer out there!

The Askan Buff.

The buff i chose is the Askan Buff, with a lovely husky print allover it.

I was really surprised by the large amount of designs, prints and patterns that Kitshack offer, so there's a buff out there for everyone. Even smaller ones for children and dogs!

I personally like to wear it as a neckerchief then pull it up over my nose for cycling. It keeps my face nice and warm whilst i'm out and the breathable fabric lets me stay warm without getting uncomfortable.

It's become part of my daily kit- living in my helmet with my lock, and I grab it and go on my way. I love how lightweight it is too and the fact that I can use it for different purposes!

My other favourite way to wear it is as a headband.

It's really handy for when I just need my hair out of my face and useful at the gym!

I've also used it as a scrunchie when I couldn't find a hairband.

It's a really simple design but it can be used as a hairband, wristband, scrunchie, neckerchief, mask, balaclava, beanie, bandana and more!

I've seriously loved having this buff, it's helped me brave the cold up here to get a bit more active!
